La Bonne Soupe does a fantastic job of presenting classic French dishes. All ingredients and dishes are fresh, service is impeccable and prices are low given the neighborhood and the quality of food. I go there for lunch regularly and recommend heartily. Only criticism is that the decor is a bit tired, but ... c'est la vie, and for me offset and then some by the quality of food and service. we had a nice time at our first visit to la bonne soupe. it was a busy pre-theatre time and the staff was somewhat stressed, but remained pleasant. for me, the Entree selections were limited – fat meat dishes or sandwiches were the most important choices.
