Applebee's - New Bern

What Gwendolyn Koss likes about Applebee's:
7:30 Friday night dinner. It was great to be outside and we chose a good place. The food was pretty good and the place had a great atmosphere. I could say they were short staff, but they did. The staff was friendly and everyone worked hard. Even the manager helps in cleaning tables and leads food and drinks to tables. There were three of us. We had all dinners, drinks and an appetizer. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived 25 minutes before closing and found no service. I was seated at the bar, where three other patrons had just begun their meals. Bartender Isaac noticed us but didn't come over. After 5-10 minutes, I asked him if the restaurant was closing, and he confirmed that he was indeed closing.
