Monterrey Mexican - Nashville-Davidson metropolitan government (balance)

What Aubrey Blizzard likes about Monterrey Mexican:
Food was pretty good, just wasn't hot. Maybe because the plates the brought out on was room temp. I'm used to Mexican food coming out on plates so hot you shouldn't touch them. If they could do that, it would have been very good. The waiter was nice I guess, but very mumbly and didn't seem to enjoy talking to people. Would go back if in the area. View all feedback.

Ordered from there last night. Food was not prepared well, nachos had practice no cheese, and the jalapeno on top had no cheese on them at all, and we're just cold brined slices. Didn't send any tortillas, asked for no pico, got pico. Decent amount of filler(beans, Sour cream and rice) in the entree but the meat was pretty lacking flavor and overdone. sent me a shrimp taco with pico on it instead of shrimp. It might...
