we had lunch on December and then there was the fixed menu. excellent dishes and staff very helpful. wide range of wines to accompany. prices are a little high considering more advanced kitchens than the umbra, but still in line with the prices of this area. View all feedback.
This is an amazing spot in the middle of Umbria, reachable by rail. Do not miss this gem of a restaurant (this review is for the restaurant only, since this is where we ate). The presentation is spectacular, and the flavor combinations are truly inspired. Federico is a very talented chef who has brought his global experience back to his home country and applied it to local ingredients to create an amazing experience. My husband and I brought two friends who are foodies, and they declared it to be among the best dining experiences they've had, rivalling Michelin-starred and world-famous restaurants. Buon appetito!
My wife I had a starter plus a main course here. The portions were massive my wife had to pass a lot of the food from her plate onto my plate in order not to waste food.
The food is really home made. Service with a smile. A very clean place. Live football on SKY and a good Italian breakfast in the morning.
This is a great value for your money. The menu includes breakfast items, as well as lunch and dinner choices. Breakfasts range from cold cuts and cheeses to outstanding homemade pastries and Italian beverages. The lunch and dinner menu consists of local favorites, as well as international food. I have eaten most everything on the menu. The steak is as good as any that I have had in the United States. The local dishes are outstanding as well. Just the other night, I ate the faraone alla leccarda. It consists of roasted guinea hen topped with a wonderful liver sauce. It was indescribably delicious. The most prominent thing about this restaurant is the wait staff. They are extremely helpful, friendly, and want to make your stay a pleasant one. If you come to visit Narni, this is restaurant worth the time to visit.
We saw this little restaurant with sidewalk sitting on a quite (and a very old) street in Narni. We sat down but found out that the restaurant was ready to serve lunch for another half an hour. So, we got some drinks and ordered. The food arrived shortly after the lunch time started, so it was all good. The food was very good, but the atmosphere was just the best watching people go by and marvel at the centuries and centuries of history right in front of your eyes (or lunch table). What a great experience.
