**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** At this restaurant, patrons encounter a blend of satisfaction and frustration. While the venue boasts stunning lakeside views and a revamped menu, new ownership has shifted the ordering process entirely online, which can be inconvenient, especially for older guests. The food generally garners praise for flavor and portion sizes, though some items, like pasta dishes, receive criticism for their pricing. Although staff members are reported to be friendly and helpful, the owners' gripes with past reviewers suggest discomfort among long-time customers. Overall, while some enjoy the experience, others feel disheartened by recent changes.
The restaurant offers a fantastic view of the water. We ordered wings, bao buns, mozzarella sticks, chicken sandwiches, fish and chips, and the blackened fish tacos. Everything was delicious; however, the tacos could have used just a little more flavor. The drinks were enjoyable as well!
Although it took a minute to figure out the system for ordering we were very happy. Staff was very personable and helpful and attentive. The food was delicious with large portions and decent cocktails. Everything was so quick. We didn?t have to wait for anything and as the night went on getting refills on drinks was easy. I recommend going if you have not been since the new owners took over . It was a great night and we will be back.

If you scroll far enough past his spam alternate accounts he?s made to make his restaurant look good you can see all the true, honest reviews about ricks this year with the new owner and system. after switching owners in 2022 this place has gone drastically downhill with what the owner likes to call ?the much needed improvements.? Let me start off by mentioning the new billing system which requiresyou to have a phone in order to eat here. Everything is online so there is no such thing as a waiter or waitress. They?ve become technicians for people who aren?t new to the system. And with this system they automatically add 20% to thebill so you don?t ?have to tip? so if you ordered 100$ worth of food they automatically add an extra 20$. But even then your asked if you want to tip. The second thing I?ll mention is the quality of food. Let?s just say it?s no longer asgood as it use to be. The Third thing I?ll add is the excessive amount of excuses he?s made for why food might?ve not been as good. One of the comments someone mentions food being cold, (which is fine it?s happens if it?s stays on thecounter too long but there really was no apology from the owner and his response to the comment was ?sometimes the breeze from the lake comes into the kitchen which is way food gets cold quicker. and with all that being said my finalmessage for anyone checking to see if this place is good, just don?t come here. They don?t deserve it and they need a better owner. (I?m here just to give an honest and constructive review about this place.

Ordered takeout using the app. Very easy food was on point. Very quick Very friendly. Had the lobster roll and fries.. coleslaw was delicious. Also ordered fried clams perfectly cooked and the 20% tip to these hard working young people, wasn't enough.. Iadded extra .. Definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience
