Quick, cheerful service and standout cornbread keep customers returning, but experiences are inconsistent: slow drive‑thru waits, cold or incorrect orders, and portion variability have frustrated some patrons. Ideal for families and casual breakfast or lunch visits, yet bring patience — especially at the drive‑thru.
I waited over 15 minutes in the drive-thru, and when I finally got my food, it was cold. I didn't want to waste any more time complaining. The woman who gave me my bag seemed aware of how long my food had been sitting there, yet she presented it as if it were fresh—offering me hot fries and a hot grilled cheese sandwich. However, that was far from the reality; it looked like it had been left out overnight. It wasn't that it was leftovers, but rather it had been sitting on a cold counter away from the heat lamps. That's unacceptable, and I won't be coming back. My kids like this place, but they can only go at their own risk. This isn't the first, second, or even third time I've had a similar experience here. I'm done paying for disappointment and frustration. This location is now permanently off my list. Peace.
I really enjoy eating here, especially for breakfast! The service is top-notch—everyone is friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently hot and fresh. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is exceptional; it truly feels like a home-cooked meal!
Was stuck in drive thru over 15 min, food was cold and was not about to waste that much more time to complain. The lady who handed me the bag was well aware how long my food sat waited on me... and she still handed it right over like here fresh hotfries, hot grill cheese sandwich.. No ... I say not at all . It looked like i got day old cold leftovers. I know it wasnt ... itwas neglected on a cold counter away from heat lamps, and thats fine .. will not be me again. But my kids love this place, theywill have to love it at their own risk/ or on their free time, money. THIS was not the 1st , 2nd, or 3rd time that similaralmost the same have happened to me here. I refuse to pay to belet down and become angry. So this location permanently off mylist forever. Peace
I was very disappointed with this location. We ordered two meals, both of which came with cold fries. My sister's chicken tenders were acceptable, but I ordered a burger without mayo and tomato. The person taking the order asked me to repeat it, and we clearly specified our request. However, when I finally got my burger after leaving, it had only tomato and mayo on it. Additionally, it took us 15 minutes to get through the drive-thru with only three cars ahead of us. I’ve never had issues like this at the Jerry J's locations in Waycross and Blackshear, unless it was during the busy morning rush.
The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch! You haven't had a real burger until you've tasted their backyard burger! The cornbread was amazing, and everything else also merits a five-star rating! I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be back.
