They hosted a fundraiser for my daughters gymnastics team and it was amazing! Ordered sushi and it was better than I expected at what looks like a brew pub! My drinks were good. My only gripe is I was seated at a high top table by the video games without being asked if it was ok... I would have much preferred to wait for a real table but before I could even say that the hostess walked away... But will be returning when we have company in town to try the burgers
A great place for everyone from families to a night out with friends. Huge selection of draft beers (48) and a well thought out menu The Grumpy Monk is an excellent addition to the Myrtle Beach area. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgable and the food is top notch. The menu offers a bit of variety for all and is made in-house. It is a must try for all!
Grumpy Monk is one of the top restaurants in Myrtle Beach! During CCU parents weekend, we had an amazing evening there. The craft beers were exceptional with a wide variety to choose from. The food paired perfectly with the drinks. Our server, Donnie, was outstanding. We quickly fell in love with Grumpy Monk and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend checking it out! Great service and atmosphere, but my meal was not enjoyable. Luckily, my friends had no complaints about their food. I ordered the Philly grilled cheese and it was very burnt, and pass on the tropical coleslaw, it was disgusting. Our waitress waswonderful though!
