Feedback
The restaurant experience here garnered mixed reviews, with many diners expressing disappointment over service delays and food quality. Long waits—sometimes exceeding an hour and a half—were frequent complaints, alongside issues like burnt burgers and overpriced appetizers. While some patrons enjoyed the inviting atmosphere and praised certain dishes, including a standout California burger, others strongly discouraged dining here, citing overall poor management and lackluster service. Though a few found the beer selection and outdoor seating appealing, the overwhelming sentiment leaned toward avoiding this establishment, with many indicating they would seek alternatives in the area.
My family and I came a weekend and had a terrible experience. for beginners we have a chili cheese poster, and after we had all eaten a few bites, we realized that the meat was raw! we asked the waitress not to bring us another, and she said: “Well, just eat around him.”? then all 5 of us got hamburger well done and 4 of our burgers were also raw. our waitress even admitted that it was raw and made an evil face. then, when the ticket came, we had no discount except a hamburger was 50% discount. we didn't pay for the nachos, but we literally couldn't eat it. I've never written a review in my life, but that was the worst experience I've ever had. they save their money, don't eat them here
I've been here for about 5 years. best is this place moderate. today was the second terrible experience in a series. waited for an hour for two burgers and a series of nachos. this despite the place relatiw empty for a lunch on the much hyped sun eclipse, that should have been if something rushed. food comes and burgers are not cooked as ordered and afteros boiled without all ingredients, there are only about five). our table 's waiting and dissatisfaction with food quality was the norm by our observation. the manager came by and was told that waiting was inevitable and eating was not sufficiently prepared. she seemed uninterested and offered to compose the nachos if the entire meal should have been written off. the owners do not care to provide quality, as even the toilet cords are inadequate for a tavern. they have a monopol in the sportable and know it. avoid this place and go to valley river brewery around the block while they still care about pleasant customers. this place sucks.
Service was great, the appetizers and burgers were great as well. friendly staff, great entertainment.
9/19/22 EDIT: The onion rings appetizer was very good and the horseradish sauce was not too strong. AVOID the mac and cheese the cheese sauce was watery and flavorless and the pasta was very overcooked. This is a large bar with food. They served a goodbasic beef burger we didn't try the bison burgers this time but every burger is available in either meat. Theslightly larger than shoestring fries were hot and crispy. Our meal also came with coleslaw. Our server, Joe, was efficient andpolite. He checked on us regularly. We would have loved to try the desserts but we were too full from our meal. We'll bereturning in the future.
Whatever you do don't order the mozzarella sticks. It seems like it was 12$ for the appetizer and when it came out there were 4. You heard that right, only four. So what 3$ per stick. They the flavor was good but no where near good to justify chargingthat price. The cheeseburger we ordered was burnt and dry. In the end we were paid, without alcohol, 175$ after tip. I'mavoiding this place next time I'm in Murphy. Surely there is a better place. In this town
