Had the booking made 4 months in advanced, when we got there our table wasn’t ready nor had one been reserved so we had to wait and sit outside until one was av... read more Had the booking made 4 months in advanced, when we got there our table wasn’t ready nor had one been reserved so we had to wait and sit outside until one was available. When then finally get to our table (must of been for 10 people but we have 7) and one of the male waiters yelled at us that we couldn’t sit at one end of the table? And proceeded to do the rudest gestures with his hand and say “up the other end” without explanation and with the rudest look on his face while rolling his eyes when one of the girls didn’t hear him. Then took forever to take our order and when the lady did, she completely missed a person on the table and we were calling her back and she proceeded to ignore us so we had to chase her down the stairs. No sorry or anything. Drinks came out at all different times. No one checked on our meals. I stated we had 2 vegans with us on the booking and then no vegan option was offered to them. Just was overall disappointing seeing the price we paid, we were so excited to come and the service really let us down.

Not... read more Everything was spectacular! From the onset stepping into the grand loft, the high ceiling and spaciousness of the restaurant creates a hip and trendy vibe. Not just the ambience but more importantly food and coffee is to die for! I had the amazing kale cauliflower salad and my partner had the all time favorite crab omelette which was nothing but perfect! Smooth, soft and creamy on top of the home made toast was just the perfect combination! What blew our mind off was the matcha latte! Such heavenly texture, fully bodied and flavored and most uniquely it was served without sugar allowing the authentic matcha to be tasted! I’m sure to be back again to this amazing cafe! Our must have when we are visiting Melbourne!
