The reviews for the restaurant all praise the warm and cozy environment, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. Customers enjoyed the vegan wet mix chai, but had mixed feelings about the vegan menu options. Some felt the prices were reasonable, while others thought certain dishes were not worth the cost and could have used more flavor. Despite varying opinions on the food, everyone appreciated the interesting menu options, with some noting that specials were also vegan. The service was commended for being error-free and following Covid requirements. Overall, the cafe was described as cute, with a lovely outdoor courtyard and a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on the menu. Customers were particularly impressed with the croissants and the cozy seating inside. The general consensus was positive, with many expressing a desire to return and try more dishes.
What Aloo likes about Governor's Cafe:

What NDVegan doesn't like about Governor's Cafe:
Warm and cosy setting. Friendly, helpful staff. The vegan wet mix chai was nice. The 2 vegan menu options, potatoes or cauliflower were just fried chunks. The potatoes were a good price at $12 but $22 for the cauliflower, wasn't worth it. I thought at the least it needed cucumber and tomato. It needed some saucy, healthiness. More colour and flavour. It was served with a hard piece of bread, which to me, didn't work.... View all feedback.
