A comprehensive review of the restaurant reveals a mix of experiences. While some customers were utterly disappointed with the quality of food and service, others had a faultless experience with delicious food and friendly staff. Issues with long wait times, undercooked steaks, dismissive servers, and lack of acknowledgment for special occasions were reported by some diners. However, positive reviews highlighted the delicious food, generous portions, attentive service, and beautiful surroundings. The presence of a brilliant garden for families was also noted, although some customers expressed a need for more staff to improve efficiency. Overall, dining experiences varied from extremely disappointing to highly recommended, making it essential for potential visitors to weigh the pros and cons before planning a visit.
What James wilson likes about The Morecambe Hotel:
This is and has been my favourite place to eat in Morecambe for a few years. Sunday Dinner is always a favourite. There’s an excellent portion with a nice variety of fresh vegetables. Rich gravy and all the trimmings. We love the starters, freshly prepared and Morecambe shrimp- lovely. It is not the cheapest but the food is really excellent quality and good providence. What Peter Steinberg doesn't like about The Morecambe Hotel:
A pleasant dining room, attentive staff. But expensive. Two of us had the roast, one beef, one lamb. Nice vegetables, but completely spoiled by the meat. I would have thought for £20 (less for a small plate) the meat would have been carved from a joint, not a rubbery prepacked slice. View all feedback.
