My sister and I had lunch here today. The place was busy but the staff were friendly and efficient. We both had the macaroni cheese and chips and it was delicious. It was served to us quickly. No complaints.
I enjoy coming here for lunch every few weeks. My favorite dish is the breaded haddock, while my husband loves the chicken fillets. We never have enough room for dessert. The staff is wonderful, and I can't compliment them enough.
Hadn't visited for a while and to be honest the food was definitely of a lower quality than the last time we visited We both had toasties with a side order of chips and it was quite tasteless and the chips were the skinny type that don't taste great and get cold really quickly and my cherry scone had chopped cherries on the outside but there seemed to be none inside Always enjoyed a trip to Christies hope that this experience was just a one off
Quality of food has gone down hill, they used to do lovely chips, not anymore, tried the chicken and mushroom pie today, chicken and mushrooms were floating in a watery sauce, couldn’t even call it a sauce, and was tasteless, we use to enjoy a lunch time meal here, not anymore.
Excellent food, fantastic staff, so friendly, helpful, really nice outside sitting area, which was gr8 for my father as has breathing problems, which staff helped us set up tables outside for us, even though I 4got to request that seating!
