beautiful short vacation. we live in jackson, wy and wanted a few days away, without distractions, i.e. shovels. large long running and snowshoe hiking, very nice rooms and love the lodge with their sitting area at the fireplace and small bar in the back. both the breakfast (included in the room price) and the dinner were fabulous. we make it an annual event. This was my first visit to the Grand Tetons, and I wanted to enjoy a dining experience outside of the national park and Jackson. I was hoping for something unique and memorable for my family. However, I was disappointed to find that it was a buffet service. This didn't align with what I had seen on the website and in OpenTable reviews.
