Actually, it wasn't much of a detour! We were aleady in Beaumont, 20 kms or so away, but a local music festival there meant that restaurants were either closed or full. Montech was on the map, but it probably wouldn't be too high up on...your list of places to visit in this beautiful region of SW France.
