this is my first Google review, and I do not think that a restaurant deserves it more. I have probably eaten every sushi restaurant in the West Orange area and not compared to nori. their fish are always delicate and tasteful. many other places I have eaten have very hard fish or put very small pieces in the roll. this is my restaurant in sushi since the start of quarantine and I can't expect to have a meal here! This place seems to have changed management. The food is good and the service is good but nothing spectacular. There was a buzz and a vibe at their spot before the pandemic. Hopefully they get it back.
Nori is the most consistent sushi I'm Montclair. The service, the quality, and the atmosphere are always reliable.
This is my first Google review, and I don't think any restaurant deserves it more. I have eaten at probably every sushi restaurant in the West Orange area, and nowhere compares to Nori. Their fish is always tender and flavorful. Many other places I've eaten have very tough fish or put very small pieces in the roll. This has been my go-to sushi restaurant since the start of quarantine and I can't wait to be able to have a sit down meal here!
Previously, this was my go-to sushi of choice nearby. The service recently has improved and the sushi chefs are doing a great job with presentation and flavors. I had the eel avocado and eel cucumber rolls, which were great. The server had come back to our table throughout refilling our teas, asking if there was anything we needed. The service was prompt and the server, very polite. I am glad the service and quality are back as I remember it, only it's even better now. I'm now referring any
