My wife and I have been looking for some healthier breakfast since we moved to the area a year ago. Yesterday I found this wonderful place, I got the breakfast and my wife had the evvo sandwich. We both had a mixed drink that I had the cocoa and peanut butter, and my wife had the mango. All we had was amazing!! It tasted and looked so fresh. All there work very friendly! I'm a local of Charleston, SC and super picky about my Shrimp n Grits. Mat makes the absolutely best shrimp and grits in the area. The shrimps are not overcooked, the greens are creamy, the sauce is delicious. My friends have tried other items on the menu and they were all delicious. The kitchen is open so you know that your food is freshly cooked. I highly recommend coming here for lunch of an early dinner. Matt has an amazing restaurant.
We ate at their original place but was very crowded. This is where another favorite restaurant was. The food was excellent and the service was as well. Great place foR trying something from the chef off the cuff but very good eating and preparation by the chef. Highly recommend this place if you are close to Monroe NC. I have my Daughterinlaw to thank for recommending again.....thank you AMANDA STINCHCOMB. The watermelon with Fresca was refreshing, not to mention the pimento cheese and shaved roast beef on their homemade bread.
Went with a group of friends from work and I have to say the food was all amazing. Shredded chicken tacos with watermelon were to die for. Those need to be a regular menu item. The atmosphere was so chill. And the live music with an amazing violinist playing modern songs was so cool. I'll definitely be back.
