Moama should thank it’s lucky stars that it has this amazing restaurant. Tucked far away from the pokies, you will find this uber cool restaurant with its modern and stylish decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. The meals were all amazing, and presentation was impeccable. A family lunch that will be remembered fondly View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Junction Moama:
junction is sucked. website never identified with a bowls club. no idea we needed a card to enter. they turned us away because my partner had no ID. no idea that you have to enter. they wouldn't even take one. we would have spent hundreds for a good meal, but they have made a bad choice. the junction has a wrong image. it has bad management. Went there on a Saturday night for the second time in two years, group of eight. Booked the Clubs courtesy bus, told it would be there at 7.30 it came at 8.00, a 35 minute wait outside in the freezing cold. Music was more suitable from our experience last time. Wine prices have been decreased. We all had the set menu (whole table must order) with desert, @ $73.00 PP. Courses came out on three plates and help yourself. Was very ordinary, different and well over priced. No one was impressed would not recommend it. Great Venue and presentation with excellent staff, Needs its own private entry, not through the poker machine area and harassment from main entry staff there. Was very surprised at so many empty tables on a Saturday night
We had the 5 course chefs selection. Food was great!!! Best we have ever had (anywhere). Service was wonderful too. Thanks for a great night Junction Moama.
My wife and I visited here for our wedding anniversary recently, and we were very impressed with the whole experience. Our food and drink orders were taken as soon as we got to our table, the king prawns were absolutely to die for, so much so that we had to get a second serving of them. The only unfortunate thing in our eyes was that we enjoyed our mains too much and didn't leave room for any of the dessert offerings.....We will be coming back again for sure.
Lovely soulful venue with live music that really set the tone. Service was nice and friendly. Food was good and tasty. We appreciate the Chef and team to explore middle eastern and in particularly Asian flavours. The steamed Mussels and Udon with greens was too salty though a great attempt using Asian flavours. I would use less soy sauce and dilute it with water, citrus or a broth to balance the soy and oyster sauce for the stem mussels. The use of soy for the udon was too much as it made the dish very salty. A cold balanced soy based broth that’s been chilled or a warm bone-soy broth would have been better. The use of soy sauce in Asian cuisines is not the same as using passata in pastas. It’s usually a couple teaspoons diluted with a broth/water etc to balance. Everything else was fantastic. The Korean meatballs with nuoc cham, which I suspect was heavily influenced by a popular northern Vietnamese dish “Bun Cha” as the flavours was very similar and was very tasty. The highlight was the beef cheeks Rendang for me, very different with just a hint of rendang flavour. Would have loved a little more rendang thick sauce, in saying that the beef cheeks was extremely tender and absolutely delicious. Overall we really enjoyed it and can see the attention to details in presentations and really appreciate the courage to explore south east and middle eastern flavours. Well done to the team
