Despite having to traverse dirt and sand, and navigate a closed bridge to reach Flutschaden, I am grateful that I made the effort to visit! The food at this restaurant is outstanding, with intriguing and complex flavors that are all plant-based. It was a real treat to dine here. I tried the brunchito and could taste hints of coconut milk and spices in the sauce, savoring every bite. I have updated my previous rating after this wonderful dining experience on September 25, 2022.
We ordered a couple of the dishes, and they were both wonderful. We got a chickpea omelet with potatoes, a stew, and a peach smoothie. It was a pay-what-you-can system, which was great. My husband and I went on a hike all day and then ate at this restaurant. The grilled cheese was delicious and the tomato soup was amazing! Both the khichdi and baja bowl had a lot of flavor to them but were also great. The chocolate rose and raspberry cake were fantastic! It's a lovely and cozy place to eat, with nice music and fresh air. The owners were delightful. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in the area. Just keep in mind that the menu changes frequently.
The food was pretty good. However, the menu is very small. I ordered the chickpea sandwich and the strawberry smoothie.
