Was Anonym at L'Escale a mag?
My family and I stopped in here during a canal boat tour of the Grand Est. We were nervous given our lack of French speakers in the party, and the fact that this was very much rural France. We needed have worried though. Natalie, our waitress did everything possible to help us out, using her phone to translate and breaking down the language barriers with her exceptionally friendly service and humour. What Krizto dislikes about L'Escale:
We ate whilst doing a boat trip. The waitress did a good job translating the menu and was very sweet with our children. It is ashame that the meat of my main dish looked tasted a bit like charcoal and the burger from the kids menu was still raw inside. Starters and dessert were ok. View all feedback.
