Feedback
Dining at this restaurant presents a spectrum of experiences, ranging from exceptional to underwhelming. While some guests rave about the high-quality sushi and diverse menu, others find the offerings lackluster, citing stale flavors and high prices. The atmosphere is vibrant, though service consistency raises concerns, with reports of delayed orders and inattentive staff. Though many enjoyed the vegetarian options, they noted the sushi could be overpriced and basic. Ultimately, while some dishes shine and the ambiance invites patrons in, others leave diners disappointed, suggesting a need for improvement in both food quality and service reliability.
It's winter, and despite sitting in the table right in front of the door we were quite comfortable thanks to the curtain they have set up. Street parking wasn't hard on this early Thursday dinner out with my 14yo who wanted ramen. We were fortunate to arrive during happy hour and the veggie trio (pictured was fantastic. I enjoyed a few other dishes as well as the nigori sake. The seabass oshizushi (pressed sushi, pictured really stood out as a unique but traditional item I haven't seen yet at other local sushi places. My kid reports the ramen as 10/10, mentioning the melt-in-your-mouth pork it contained. The broth was richly flavored (roasty almost? but light, not the super-thick tonkotsu you might find elsewhere. No credit card tipping (extra percentage added in menu prices left me feeling like it was a great value, but wished I could have tipped my server more for his very friendly service.Vegetarian options: The veggie trio in the happy hour menu delivered the marinated cucumbers (not spicy eggplant skewer, and cauliflower. My kid enjoyed avocado rolls and there were plenty of other veg options on the menu.Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of more plain options, but I think plenty of their dishes are approachable to many kids. Worst case there's always rice ?
So many vegan options!! The miso soup, ankake agedashi dofu, and chefs vegetarian platter were all superb. Highly recommend!!

We saw Oshi on the menu and got excited but it was a let down compared to other places. Its a super expensive dish $25 per order) that feels like they cut a lot of corners to make. We’re hoping to give them another chance. The happy hour is worth it though! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
