The food is surprisingly excellent, especially considering how amazing the views and atmosphere are. I also love the young staff here; it feels like a scene from a John Hughes movie is unfolding behind the scenes!
The food was average, and the service was disappointing. I specifically want to point out the girl who was taking orders, as she was quite rude. The menu mentioned Canadian bacon, and when I requested it to be added to my order, she responded with an attitude, asking, "What do you mean by Canadian bacon? We have ham or bacon. What do you want?" It's frustrating; they should either update the menu or ensure their staff is properly informed. A simple, polite request for clarification would have sufficed.
The beautiful location is unbeatable. We ordered two sandwiches and absolutely loved the cheese curds! I noticed many people enjoying ice cream, but we were too stuffed to indulge. Maybe another time!
FAST, friendly service with what looked like DELICIOUS food. I was fasting so I just ordered one of 3(!! options of unsweetened iced tea, but I'll definitely be back to try food soon. While walking around Lake Harriet, we noticed the line and decided to check it out. We ordered the burger, fries, and cheese curds—and to our surprise, not only was the service impressively fast after ordering, but the food was excellent. The burger was well-seasoned, and the cheese curds were just as good as what you’d find at the State Fair. If they ever offer different flavored curds, that would take it to the next level! Great views and food. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
