We loved this place not a corporate cookie-cutter experience. The staff is quirky, but that's the charm. The food in the adjoining restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. Our room was cozy and clean with a shower water pressure that could knock you over (it was wonderful Mini-fridge included. What Jean doesn't like about Lassen Mineral Lodge Saloon:
This place is run down and scary. It looks like the Bates Motel. Our room smelled like mold. My lungs wouldn 't allow me to stay. The girl in the restaurant was nice and said we could be moved to 'the other side '. Not sure what that meant, but didn 't want to chance it. It was the first place we ever left.
