best fish and chips we had for a long time, fresh and hot, delicious. the staff was friendly and helpful. everything was immaculately clean. we took us to eat on the coast, but they had a beautiful sitting area also immaculately clean and sitting and benches front for beautiful days. would recommend and we will visit again. The best fish and chips I've eaten in the age. Cod bites were a fair size, beautiful cod, even a piece of lemon. oh the little ones! also a good part of the chips, all freshly cooked. the cake was full of meat and delicious. also no bad cup tee! beautiful sitting corner outside with sunshade and large restaurant on the back of the chip shop. 2 meal times and 2 drinks and from £15. beautiful staff. we're coming back. definitiw earned 5*
The food is excellent and freshly cooked, and the service is very courteous. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Mint.

What a great discovery! You can dine inside the restaurant, sit outside in the front, or get takeout. Only chips and cod are gluten-free, so unfortunately there are no gluten-free sausages available. However, they are available in kids' meals, which made my daughter very happy. All gluten-free items are cooked in a separate fryer. There are no signs or advertising indicating gluten-free options, so we only found out by asking.
