Three of us enjoyed dinner on the terrace along the walkway. The service was good, and the food was excellent. Half Moon Bay boasts several great Italian restaurants, but this one stood out today. The beet salad was a prime example of how to elevate a classic dish into something exceptional. The food was good the service not so much. The hostess was not very communicative. When we asked for something she would literally just walk away without response and never follow back up. We went two evenings in a row as we were staying across the street, once for pizza to go and once for dine in, and received the same from her both nights.
