I really enjoyed the skewers. Went with my wife while we waited for our flight. Our favorites were pork jowl, chicken cartilage, beef and lamb skewers. You really can't go wrong with any of the meat skewers. We'll be back next time and try some of the other dishes.
Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, providing us with detailed guidance on the optimal cooking times and sauce pairings for each meat option. She checked on us frequently, refilling our water and even offering complimentary watermelon and coupons to conclude our meal. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying dinner in terms of both food and service quality. However, I do have one minor critique: the pricing at Ai Grill may place it in the category of a special occasion dining experience rather than an easy splurge, even though skewers are typically considered street food. While I usually think of beef and lamb skewers as the stars of Chinese barbecue, the starting price of $7 for beef skewers gave me pause about ordering multiple skewers right away. I genuinely hope Ai Grill continues to grow its customer base, as there was still some room available when we visited (though we did arrive right at opening time).
Vegetarian options: The grilled zucchini, corn, mushrooms, and tofu rolls were absolutely delicious!
