We were recommended this hotel for its food by some locals. We ordered a chicken parmigiana and a zinger burger. However, the service was quite slow, as it seemed they prioritized takeout orders over those dining in. Unfortunately, my parmigiana lacked flavor, although the chicken was moist. In hindsight, I should have listened to the locals and chosen the steak instead.
The service was incredible! We called ahead to mention that I would be dining with my service dog, and the staff was very accommodating. They seated us in their cozy red room, which was away from the main dining area. The food was outstanding; everything tasted amazing, and the desserts were delightful, too. The staff was friendly and had excellent recommendations for our meal. They were also very understanding when I requested some changes to my order, like no sour cream and cole slaw on the side. Overall, a wonderful experience!
We were just for lunch. Waiting was quite long. we ordered several dishes, the rice was boiled. service: 4/5 location: 4/5 .more
They say you get what you pay for, and that definitely rings true here. My daughter went to the reception and it took a while for anyone to notice her. Eventually, some young staff members did respond. We were short on cutlery, only having one spoon. The bed sheets definitely need a good bleaching, and the dining chairs could use a thorough cleaning. The overhead lights above the bed didn't work, and the TV was very small, although I did appreciate the handwritten note on it. On the plus side, the hot water was lovely and the air conditioning worked well. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable; both of us left feeling like we had been squished like half-open pocket knives.
Visiting family for a week and dinning out most days found this gem on the third day meals were great but what set it above the other two hotels was the friendly staff miss Grace was delightful spoke and engaged all her customers and made us feel so welcome checking everything was to our liking, definitely our go to now well done Gace and the Windsor kitchen staff Service: 5
