We were passing through Middlewich on our narrowboat and called in about eight o’clock after a pint in the excellent Kings Lock opposite. There was a steady stream of locals but we were greeted with a friendly smile, and served quickly by a super efficient and friendly team. The fish and chips were 10/10.
