Was MrsJD2007 at Morrisons Cafe a mag?
On a calorie count diet and wanting something substantial I was drawn to mini fish and chips just 440 calories and £4. I was pleased to see all the calories against the food on the menu. There is a range of food from meals to sandwiches and cakes. The fish and chips was lovely and very filling. The restaurant itself is light, colourful and airy View all feedback.
What Leedscouple6 dislikes about Morrisons Cafe:
The breakfast experience was terrible, with poor service to match. The meal was missing key items like black pudding and hash browns, and instead of receiving a proper portion of chips, only 6 measly chips were provided. There was no discount offered for the lack of items. When I complained to customer service, I was told that my comments would be passed on to the manager. At 3:45pm, the restaurant had run out of fish and chips, so I decided to go for the cheeseburger and chips instead. Unfortunately, the chips were barely warm, even after attempting to warm them up with hot beans. The burger was served in a sweet brioche bun, which was not to my liking, and had a slice of cold cheese and a thick slice of tomato. Despite being hungry, I struggled to finish the meal, and my husband had a hard time with the burger as well. On the bright side, the coffee was enjoyable.
Me and my wife went in for breakfast before we did our shopping. We ordered 2 full breakfasts and extra toast and tea. When the breakfasts did arrive. They looked fine but were just warm. Me been Me. I still eat everything. Wife only had half. But thinking about it I should of said something. Iv had to many bad breakfasts from here so I won't be having breakfast here again. Il stick to my frosties. Got there great.
I go to Morrison’s with the other half sometimes daughter), pretty much, every Saturday for breakfast and always order, at least 1 vegetarian option, so to be told not for the 1st time) that they had no veggie sausages is ridiculous- they sell them in the shop, for goodness sake!! How can they run out, once maybe...... but 3 times, in as many months?? Find this totally unacceptable, as I am a regular customer once, often twice, a week. I am currently looking for an alternative......

There was no discount offered for the lack of items. When I complained to customer service, I was told that my comments would be passed on to the manager. However, it has been a week and I have not received a response. The food was inedible and I believe I should have been refunded or given a replacement meal.
We ordered food at this restaurant and were asked for a table number, but the tables were dirty. We requested for a table to be cleaned by a staff member, who seemed annoyed by the request. The table was eventually cleaned and our food arrived. My wife ordered poached eggs on toast with avocado, and I had the ultimate breakfast. Unfortunately, the poached eggs turned out to be hard boiled instead of poached. When we informed a staff member about the mistake, they insisted that is how the eggs come pre-cooked and heated up. Despite our explanation, the same mistake was made again. My breakfast was also disappointing and I ended up leaving half of it uneaten. Overall, the experience was not pleasant due to the unhelpful staff and subpar food. We even saw another table return their food and leave.
