absolutely loved the atmosphere and the location of this lodge. it is very romantic dark lighting in the lounge and the cavatappi pasta sauce was literally the best sauce I ever had. we arrived on a Monday evening and reservations were not required, but we heard that the lodge was fully booked. it is a beautiful being with many pleasant things and the lodge itself is chic rustic! Others who gave high marks for friendly “service, ” are partially correct. Every time we asked about something, they said “no, ” with a cheery smile! Ugh! What a dump. This overpriced so-called lodge is a dreary, under-equipped, sub-standard, depressing hovel.
