I recently visited Port Road Pizza in Mequon, an Italian restaurant that I find myself drawn to, though I can't quite pinpoint why. The service was bright and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that I appreciated. There’s something oddly comforting about the familiar yet slightly outdated decor. Most of the dishes I tried had room for improvement, but overall they were acceptable. The pizza was decent, although the sauce could benefit from a touch of lemon and garlic. The burger was a bit small, but it was satisfactory, especially with the fresh vegetables included. The salad, while composed of good ingredients, felt somewhat dry. As for the calamari, I was quite disappointed. What I received consisted mostly of large pieces of breading, with at least 50% of it being bread rather than the seafood I was hoping for. Overall, I would rate this experience around 3.5 out of 5. Depending on the perspective, it could be as low as 2.5 or as high as 4.0, but I think 3.1 might be more accurate.

Service was a little slow but the food was fantastic. Nice family restaurant with very good eats. Would like to go back for pizza after tasting their awesome perfectly done risotto specials. Priced very reasonably.
