My husband and I had a Terrific meal and wonderful service. The ambiance of Alicante is warm and Old World-inviting with a modern flair, and you can't beat the lovely lakeview at sunset. My water glass was continually filled by an impeccably trained waitstaff that took great care to the customer's needs. My bolognase and veal was delicious. It saddens me that the last three visits at Alicante were disappointing. It appears that new ownership has impacted both service and food quality. The chicken parmigiana was once my favorite dinner at Alicante until a couple months ago. Bland sauce, about 7 pieces of pasta and very little cheese is one example.
