The George is a traditional 17th-century village pub that is family-owned and operated. We pride ourselves on serving fresh food made from local ingredients, including locally sourced meat, game, and foraged foods. Our menu features delicious fresh fish and seafood from the south coast, with scallops that are to die for. Our locally reared meat is mouthwateringly good, and we even grow our own vegetables, herbs, and fruit. In addition, we make our own ice creams in-house! We offer a selection of house beers, as well as local guest ales and ciders. Whether you're relaxing in our lovely beer garden during the summer or sitting by the log fire in the winter, families and dog walkers are always welcome. We also have four en suite bedrooms for bed and breakfast, as well as a multi-purpose self-contained function room and skittles alley.
