I had a great experience. I didnt have a reservation so my boyfriend and I ended up eating at the bar. Please ask for the bartender Michelle and she will hook you up. I had the drink special (long island) and chicken pasta. So delish! We enjoyed ourvisit and date night. Next time we will make a reservation in advance. If I could give Buckley's less than one star, I definitely would. I’m not sure of the name of the host who greeted and seated us, but his attitude was very off-putting. The overall experience, including the menu, left much to be desired. View all feedback.
So good I forgot to photo our steaks. Date night ? Forget Applebees and go here. Steaks cooked to perfection and equal attention to service. Better make a reservation though, or you?ll be getting their fine service at the rather small bar. I lucked out tonight. Haven?t been here for a while it?s always a favorite birthday or anniversary spot. Even the napkin was glad to see us.

On December 12th, 2023, I went to Buckley’s Grill at 5355 Poplar Memphis, TN 38119. At approximately 7:55pm. Once I arrived there, I was told that the only way I could do a To-Go order was if I sat down and ordered a meal also. I agreed to it and proceeded to the table. I ordered a glass of water, Chicken Pasta, and Cheese bread to eat while I was there. The waiter asked me what my To-Go Order was. I told her a Chicken Pasta and a Ribeye well done. I received all my food, proceeded to eat a little and got full so I asked for a box so that I could put the rest of what I was eating in it. The waiter then gave me a box and the receipt. My total was $142.13. I then added the tip and rounded it off to $150.00. I was at the restaurant approximately 30/40 minutes. Once I exited the restaurant the man at the front who sits guest followed and stalked me all the way to my vehicle and told me that I was banned and that I couldn't come back. I asked why and he stated that because I only tipped her $7 something and that I didn't make her Christmas great and that because of that I couldn't come back. I then stated what do you mean I paid for my food, and I also tipped. He stated again that he has me on camera and that since I didn't tip her much that I am banned and that I can't come back. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone because of the horrible customer service I received tonight. No one else was there during the time I was there, was watched like me that I noticed.
The food was the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere was soothing and relaxing. Great service from entrance to exit. All my traveling nurses should try if ur in the area bcuz were always looking for great food
We made a last minute reservation after leaving two other restaurants and the third time was definitely a charm. We went in he said he had a booth ready for us and we chose to sit at the bar and we are so glad we did. Michelle was absolutely amazing andwe felt more like we were at a friend's house than a restaurant. The food was amazing but the service was even better. We willdefinitely be back and we will sit at the bar. She loves her job and her customers even more and it shows all the way.
