When Stagger Lee's first opened, it was brilliant. But for whatever reasons, the food and coffee went down in standard. So we stopped going. But we noticed that things seemed to have changed and went back today. It all looks the same but there is a completely new menu and new staff, at least front of house. The menu was interesting again. Went there for coffee last weekend, the place looks really cool and so did the breakfast plates. Yet the latte I was served was one of the most average I've ever had. I also tried the long black -which was quite short- and it wasn't exceptional either. Service was ok. View all feedback.
It's not often that you find a chef/owner who is this understanding of delicious food along with vegetarian and vegan options. I mean, this place has it all. If you are a vegan, or vegetarian, just say so. They got you. But if you like meat and eggs, even better. They have more options for you, because of animal protein being one of the building blocks of every restaurant and the vast majority of people eating animal proteins since...well...forever. Delicious, intelligent and conscious food. World most handsome chef as well.
Excellent food, great combination of choice, complex flavours and an exciting menu. I also found the service to be excellent and attentive. Perhaps my only problem with this establishment is I think I have a favourite dish and then I try another dish and it becomes a favourite too!
Went yesterday with a girlfriend and ordered scrambled eggs , with a beautiful seeded toast with avo and goats cheese..... i must say it was the best avo on toast i have had , and I’m very fussy with my eggs , they were the best I’ve tasted. Will be back !!

I ordered kids burgers and chips. The patty was undercooked, too much tomato sauce, it made the burger soggy. The kid did not finish it. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40
