Was Anonym at Ike's Rack Shack a mag?
Went here for the cheeseburger and tinnie special and hung around for a few drinks. immediately all the staff were inviting and full of energy, we had some other good beers from the tap and the bartender randomly shouted us a shot of whisky to keep our night kicking along. brilliant View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Ike's Rack Shack:
1.30pm Sunday afternoon and this place was almost totally dark inside that we needed a torch to see the menu ???? WHATS that all about guys open the blinds ? Not an option Ordered pork ribs only to be told no pork ribs how about ?? Sorry sir cannot do that either run out of food You have chicken or beef to chose from and thats it Went the beef it was just ok and thats it how about a toothpick ?? Cannot see any ? Cannot see my food for that matter think we will just get out of this place and find a matchstick for toothpicks 5/10 for this place not rushing back or recommending this place to anyone.
7pm on a Saturday and the place is loud and pumping. Standing 3 or 4 people deep to order, that's to be expected. Staff are pretty fast and friendly, can't fault them.The cocktails look and taste fantastic, bar staff had some good flair making them, and the selection of beers on tap is pretty good too.The meal itself was alright but it wasn't as great as it could've been.The chicken wings themselves came out with no sauce on them at all (it was bizarre), so we had to put our own sauce on them. Luckily there were over 10 types of sauces to choose from.The ribs were okay, but again, hardly any sauce or flavour. The kransky was tasty but there wasn't enough slices to go around.The greens were very oily and full of garlic, and the mac and cheese was pretty bland.5/5 for staff and drinks, 3/5 for the food.

Have been to Ike's on four separate occasions and in my humble opinion, this is one of the best places for smoked BBQ ribs. The pork ribs are tremendous...but everything on the menu is good old fashioned BBQ. I'd say a must go if you're into your ribs.
Had the meat platter for two with a friend. Four different types of meat, and all of them were very good. Only issue was that for that price $90 for two), we still were craving more after polishing off all the meat. For that price, there really should have been a bit more. Also had the fries, and they were outstanding. What took the night to another level, though, was they had free beer because some local brewery was debuting or something. Got to try four different types of their beer and that made up for the lack of meat on the platter. Overall I'd recommend the place to others, though I'd also recommend to the owners to not scrimp so much.
To enjoy a quick dinner with my family of three, I recommend making an early reservation at this restaurant. We ordered a delicious burger for $17, which came with crispy and flavorful chips that my daughter truly enjoyed, especially after a disappointing burger experience at another restaurant. The full rack of ribs was also tasty, though it came with very few pickles on the side. While the ribs cost $39, they were not enough to fully satisfy two people, so we ordered a side of coleslaw for $8. Overall, the food was good and the service was excellent and efficient.
