Every single time I come here the place is packed. It doesn't matter if it's morning or afternoon, it is usually busy and for very good reasons too. Serving great coffee and yes great sliders for lunch, the service is also awesome. I love stopping by whether it's for breakfast or lunch as it's close by to work for me and they never disappoints. What Anonym dislikes about Corner & Bench:
I like hardware lane, but will avoid this cramped cafe with a view of a carpark and poor food. I hate wasting food, but made an exception in this case. Plenty of other on offer at the Lane. View all feedback.
Brillant food at great prices, the chef's daily lunch special for about $10 is always a winner, the slow cooked braised beef ragu is a fav!
This café in Melbourne is without a doubt the best value for money I have ever experienced. By "value for money," I don't mean oversized American portions; I mean consistently delicious food for only 10-12 dollars. The staff are both friendly and efficient. Despite being busy, the service is quick and the restaurant is well-staffed. I highly recommend this place - you won't be disappointed!
I visited Melbourne for the weekend with my granddaughter and stumbled upon this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was well-priced and tasted amazing - the best pancakes ever! We also received helpful advice about our safety concerns in the city. The breakfast was fantastic and made our day memorable. Thank you so much, we will definitely recommend this place to all our friends next time they are in town.

Just unfriendly staff, it is really rare to receive a smile and welcoming vibe. I’ve been coming in on and off for three years but can’t anymore you guys are vibe killers. Food is good but overpriced and every now and then when getting a vegetarian salad you will find meat in it : . Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Takeaway Price per person: $20–40
