Friends Café, a gem of the Lowveld located on the river bank surrounded by rocky outcrops and indigenous bush, offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just 5 minutes away from Nelspruit, our café and restaurant is the realization of a dream for owners Alan and Lesley Taylor after 10 years of planning. Opened on 1 April 2019, we provide more than just delicious food and drinks - we offer a unique outing for the whole family. Child and pet-friendly, with Sam the Golden Retriever as our host, guests can choose to dine indoors surrounded by African artifacts or al fresco on the lawn under the trees. Our spacious covered veranda, with a view of the river, is a favorite spot for all our guests.
