It was truly the worst service i?ve ever experienced. i come from a serving job so i try to be very understanding, but our server had a bad attitude from the start& our table was sticky when we sat. my bf ordered a bottle beer& after 40 minutes of himnot getting our beer or our server not even approaching us, we left. i will never be back& will highly discourage everyone iknow from coming.
Had a reservation for myself and my wife for our anniversary. About half full, so not terribly busy. Sat with our menus for 20 minutes before a waitress even bothered to say I'll be with you shortly. 10 minutes later, waitress still hadn't been back tous, so we got up and walked out. 30 minutes, no glass of water, no bread, no stopping to take our drink order, NOTHING! Willnever return.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the service. Given my background in the industry, I usually try to be understanding, but our server's attitude was off-putting from the start.
I know this is a casual spot, but during my last two visits, I ordered salads—hoping the second time would be an improvement—and both were disappointing. All their salads are made from that pre-packaged mix you find at the grocery store, with the tiny shreds of carrots and bits of cabbage. On my first visit, some of the lettuce was even wilted and had brown edges, which I ended up having to pick out. I understand using pre-packaged iceberg lettuce for a side salad, but when the entire entrée is a sizable chicken salad, I expect a mix of fresh, darker greens. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations? I’m not sure. It’s a shame the food quality is so lacking because the only positive aspect was the nice outdoor seating.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Three of us ordered the walleye special, but one person sent his dish back after just one bite. He was the lucky one, as the two who ate it ended up getting sick. I chose the strip steak special with mushrooms and jalapeños, but it was no better. The steak was tough and full of gristle, and the jalapeño seeds made it so spicy that I couldn't even enjoy the flavor. Ultimately, I barely touched my meal. It was an expensive and disappointing dining experience. My husband remarked that we could have gone to McDonald's and had better fish. I felt sorry for our waitress, as she was really good at her job.
