Where do I start!? I am from upstate New York and visiting my dad and wife and made it a point to go to E/2 and enjoy the amazing food and atmosphere. Charlie, the owner made one mean expresso martini. Our waiter, Eric was exceptional and was attentive. The Chef, George did not disappoint! Best scallops I've ever had! Pan seared monk fish with risotto was absolutely divine. My boyfriend the carnivore, enjoyed the succulent and savory tasting ribs that fell right off the bone. Thank you yet again for the amazing meal and great service. We shall be back soon!
Update: still one of my favorite restaurants of all time. So comfortable and relaxing. Nicole took care of us our last visit and was so professional and caring. Really loved the charcuterie addition. Previous: Best place to eat on the South Shore! The pork tenderloin, the monkfish, and the martinis are what you should try.
Excellent experience here dining with family who are definitely “foodies”. Service was excellent (thank you Tony P! and our entire meal was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Ordered take out, ribs were awful, the service is mediocre, the owner seems to not want business from locals. We had the chocolate cake for dessert, which is described online as nothing but “chocolate cake”. Took a big bite and the cherries were soaked in alcohol, which I am allergic to. Called restaurant and was told with an attitude “usually people tell us when they have allergies.” My 10 year old daughter also had a huge bite and nearly threw up. Rude service, barely mediocre food, and they offered nothing. Asked me “well what do you want me to do”.
