Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary located on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park, just 390 kilometers from Pretoria. This area is home to a variety of wildlife, including four of the big five animals (except for elephants). Along the Crocodile River, which separates Marloth Park from Kruger National Park, you may even catch a glimpse of elephants playing in the water. Buffalo, rhino, and lion can be found in Marloth's game reserve Lions Spruit, while other animals like Kudu, Zebra, and Giraffe roam freely on the 1500 hectares of land. Visitors can enjoy activities such as bird watching, walking along the river, and mountain biking on the many dirt roads. Marloth Park offers two entrance gates to the Kruger National Park: Crocodile Bridge Gate (14 kilometers away) and Malelane Gate (35 kilometers away).
