Love the salted egg croissant and the ufo coffee bun. But the Markham location doesn't have a lot of the special items until later in the afternoon.
I normally love Bake Code buns but today I ordered an Oreo Cream bun through this location on UberEats and it had literal pieces of WOOD in the bun. I was sharing the bun with a friend and she thankfully didn't swallow any. I don't understand how something like this could be overlooked so carelessly especially when it could cause dangerous choking hazard or damage the esophagus when swallowing. Very disappointing... To other customers who often order here, I'd suggest going to a different bakery or location. God forbid this have been fed to a child..
Not sure anyone on here bought their moon cake set. First it is basically robbery. The set contains 6 moon cakes of a size of a baby fist and guess how much it costs? $10 for one cake and $60 for the set. You guys could 've just robbed the money but you decide to give us 6 moon cakes.Second, the most important reason why I leave a comment here is the cultural appropriation! Mid-Autumn Festival originated from ancient China. The history of Chinese ancestors celebrating this festival goes back to thousands of years! There is actually a legend that passes along among China even today! However if one takes a closer look at the back of the set where the festival is introduced in more details. Only Korean and Japanese equivalents are mentioned. What is happening? This festival comes from China and it is very much celebrated there too. Why don 't you guys mention the elephant in the room???I am APPALLED and FURIOUS! Bake code owes an official apology.Disclaimer: those who questions the origination of the festival shall find learning world history especially Asian history again much helpful.
