Die Pause is truly one of my favourite corners in Marburg. It is cozy, warm, and welcoming, but I wouldn't call it homely. Rather than that, it always gives me the feeling of a celebration. Portions are rather small, but every bite is a huge delight. All ingredients are noticeably fresh and bio, and most come from the surrounding region of Hesse. They have vegan milk alternatives and serve one vegan cake option. All in all a nice place with a friendly atmosphere. It’s a bit expensive and could have some more vegan options for a little coffee break. View all feedback.
Definitely a hidden gem in Marburg. We especially enjoyed the mixed starter plate and the lemonades.
We got to Marburg right at lunchtime. Fortunately our niece was familiar with this delightful little place hidden down some steps off on of the main streets in the old town. We split a great grilled cheese sandwich and wonderfully fresh green salad. Service was...good and the food was great!
To us the best place to eat vegetarian food in Marburg for lunch. Great variety, great juices and friendly service.
This place is a find. At the end on an alley a tight fit inside but with great but limited) seating outside underneath lush vegetation. Great vegetarian food. We had to wait some thus one star deduction for service.
We tried Kimchi grilled cheese sandwich and antipasto, absolutely amazing! Drinks are also very nice. Highly recommend
