We enjoyed the appetizer to the dessert by choosing their proposals on the grill of the moment! And let's not forget the impeccable service and the welcome from the waitress who made us spend a very good evening. This is our favorite restaurant in the Lucerne area. Located a short distance west of town, in the tiny village of Blatten, the restaurant has an authentic rural Swiss character. The food is creative, prepared with care, and presented with a flair. Service is as...good as you will find anywhere. You can have an aperitif while looking through a large window into the kitchen. Fascinating to watch the ballet as the food is prepared.
A restored Luzerner farm contains one of the areas finest gourmet restaurants. Regardless of the season there is always a very delicious and attractive menu available with or without the accompaniment of wine. 3, 4 or 5 course menus are always wonderfully prepared and exceed...our expectations every visit, I personally think the Krone is the finest restaurant in our area and would recommend it to anyone. If you choose to dress elegantly or clean and casual you will feel comfortable without an overly sterile or claustrophobic atmosphere which often plagues upper gourmet establishments. Reservations may not always be required for a table but out of the 3 or 4 times we had tried to spontaneously get a seat we had been disappointed more than once, so i would call a few days in advance to insure a place if possible. You can expect the finest of fish dishes, excellent meat choices or vegetarian alternatives if desired. The wines are fantastic and with a glass accompanying each course i would suggest you take a taxi because they are very generous as well as delicious.

Very nice place. The room was OK despite the presence of the road which is quite noisy. Impossible to sleep with the windows open unfortunately. Very pleasant and friendly staff. The restaurant was also very good. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4
Far away from the city, the rooms were very loud and there was no place to put anything in the bathroom. It was very expensive . Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 1
