I had a wonderful meal at D’mughals. Despite the mixed reviews, I decided to give it a try. The mixed starter was just okay and could have been improved with different choices. However, the mixed meat masala was fantastic, with incredibly tender meat. The naan bread was excellent as well. When the dips and poppadoms arrived, I must say the dips were delicious. However, they appeared stale and not very fresh. Unfortunately, the starter was quite disappointing. When the main dish arrived, I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth that overshadowed the meal. While the portion size was generous, the flavor reminded me of molten plastic. Excellent choice on menu and very tasty eating. waiting time much too long, can take away up to 2 hours for 2 main courses!
Had a nice meal here, read the mixed reviews, but there was a chance. the mixed starter was not the best, would have been better with different options. had a mixed meat masala that was delicious, really delicate meat. beautiful naanbrot. has not thought much of the poppadoms and dips, tasted slightly stale and sauces bland. besides the visit worth!
Fantastic eating and the staff need there the sweetest young and so hard work I recommend this as a place to enjoy a good healthy meal
The food here is consistently great and the atmosphere is lovely, but unfortunately the service really lets it down. We dine here three or four times a year, but after our most recent visit, we’ll likely look elsewhere. Despite having a 6pm booking, we waited nearly an hour just to receive our drinks, and it was 7:30pm before our main courses arrived. During that time, we saw numerous takeaway orders being collected, which was disappointing. It felt like dine-in customers were not the priority. While the food quality remains excellent, the long wait times make it hard to justify coming back.
