Not having found open premises in the area we were orienting here, despite the outside aspect had not convinced us 100%. The first impression was also confirmed inside. The discreet food but prices absolutely out of the market: 37€ for two pasta dishes, a beer, a liter of water and two coffees. We will no longer return despite both on our way back from the sea and could have been a stop for future trips. View all feedback.
I remember with so much pleasure this place, at the end of the 1990s my dad invited his friends of Romagna and booked for them a week in this retired hotel and I remember group dinners in the room, abundant and delicious food. I went back years with my wife, late November, practically the restaurant open for us. The restaurant is now run by children, Emilio is an excellent chef who puts so much passion in his work. Raw materials of very first quality worked with so much wisdom and a welcome that makes you feel at home with extraordinary food. Thanks to Emilio and his sister. It was as I wrote in the title an experience absolutely to repeat!

Feel the passion with which the dishes are prepared and how they are described! The kitchen I think doesn't have the same, very modern, high technology as best is on the market is here! The large room from which you can see the whole valley very varied menu with a search for the very accurate food both Liguria and other Italian areas. delicious the first choice Umbrian sliced appetizer. excellent the first with homemade pasta. sweet with homemade ice cream made by the owners. another positive aspect the detail with which the hostess listed dish for dish and not and from all restaurants. last thing the bill a little high but if you want first choice material you have to pay it. Picina is first and foremost a restaurant. The 5 stars are deserved for the quality of food and its preparation. The entrance to the restaurant is in a small bar, but this should not deceive. Proceeding towards the inside you pass near the local kitchen which is a jewel of functionality and cleaning. The dining room from towards the panoramic view of the sea. We happened the first time by chance but then we went back to the first occasion. Although to reach the restaurant from the coast there are a little km to do, the place and lunch are worth the trip. Prices are adapted to the quality that is not standard. The two brothers who run the club will explain the origin of all the ingredients carefully chosen. Although time has left the mark on the structure, the gastronomic experience you will experience will be at the top. Prices are adequate to the quality of food that is not easy to find also in luxury facilities on the coast. Last but not least: artisan ice cream is great. They do not use preparations but everything is homemade with genuine components.
Author's kitchen with raw material of excellence. I recommend mixed fried, gnocchi with fisherman and hazelnut ice cream! Also excellent wine cellar.
