nick is our way to the local place and we love it! it is new haven style and consistently delicious. the reason why they are only 4 stars for me is that 5 are reserved exclusively for pepes, sallys and modern. when it comes to pizza, they are the inviolable trifecta, so that the fact that nick comes close is good enough for me! $20.09 for an old world margarita also after me was pointed out when reviewing the pizza at the front counter that my pizza seemed, no basilikum on it. I was told that there is no basilikum available and that I would not taste the difference because basilikum has no taste. I was stunned to learn that I had not tasted basilikum on many earlier margarita pizzas in my life. the pizza itself was not a good, bad quality teig that was easily burned to black. I don't want to go back.
They have the best meatballs and their sauce is really delicious. I would definitely recommend...
