cozy place. with the fireplaces accepted. eaten very well. I recommend the tortelli alla erasmo and the ravioli with ricotta. .pure the wine of the house is not bad! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Erasmo:
as soon as we entered, we were accommodated at the table of the fireplace, and the waiter was very educated the only problem according to me is dirt because there was more dirt in the corners than places cleaned in the restaurant. but for the rest the historic restaurant from erasm and cute. An ancient building , extremely beautiful but not ventilated enough. Food was very good except for the salad that was dull. Once more we see that in spite of the wonderful vegetables Italy can offer, this is not expressed in the salad menus no where
The restaurant was understaffed with poor service experience. We had to wait almost 2 hours for 3 simple pasta dishes. And when the check came they messed up our table and charged additional food we didn't order. It was corrected in the end but all in all not an experience worth revisiting ever again. Sorry.
We sat outside in a very pleasant garden overlooking the river (and railway line although this wasn’t a negative by any means). The food was good quality, good value, well presented and we will certainly be going back there on a regular basis. It is unfussy, unpretentious and evidenced by a number of tables occupied by locals is worthwhile visiting for everyone.
Meal started off well when they fitted us in without a reservation. The outdoor dining area is across the road from the main building, and is a nice scenic spot next to a river with a floodlit rail bridge going over it. Dont expect veg on your plate unless its stated in the description. My wife had the veal and that was all she received. A slab of veal with a sliver of lemon. I had the pappadelle with wild boar sauce, which was nice. The staff were very attentive before we ordered, but as soon as we said we didnt want dessert or coffee, and asked for the bill, we never saw them again. We had to ask 3 times for the bill over the course of an hour and in the end had to walk over to the counter to ask again. We were told to go across to the main building to pay. Why they didnt tell us this when we first asked is beyond me! Finally after paying the bill and leaving, it wasnt until we returned home, that we discovered we had been charged for desserts we hadnt had!
Want to feel like you walked into your Italian grandmother's kitchen for a nice meal? We visited Ristorante Erasmo on arrival to Ponte a Moriano since we were too early to check into La Lemonaia, our nearby rental Villa. So happy we did. We ordered only primi but all 5 of us were very happy with our pasta. Gnocchi are light and with al ragu were delicious. We are not fluent in Italian but our server was so nice and helped us with recommendations. We sprung for dolce too and liked all. A very nice staff and dining room has a home like feel. Popular with locals. So happy we tried to get reservations for 14 family that night (booked late via the on line app but recommend you call instead). They could only take 10 but Lorenzo went out of his way to set table for all 14. Ask for Lorenzo when calling for reservations. Ample additional parking lot behind the building.
