What Joe B likes about New Roots:
This is the first time back in 4 years since before Covid. I realized that my wife has never been here before. The good news is that it’s bright, airy and very reasonable. The food was good and very filling. Service was excellent. It’s street parking only but there were several spots on 18th Street. What Robin C doesn't like about New Roots:
I ordered (online) the highly touted smoked chicken sandwich, and paired it with the Herbed white bean veggie soup. The sandwich's saving grace is its famous bacon jam which is generously spread on the top bun, but still the sandwich is dry. It's advertised as being dressed with ranch, red onion, and kale.
