Was Anonym at Umisango a mag?
My family had edamame,chicken gyoza, kingkong plate chashu ramen and curry chicken don all the dishes were very nice. Especially chashu ramen taste exactly Japan. Service was good. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Umisango:
We ordered a tempura ramen and a chicken Katsu don. Both taste horrible. The ramen noodle is soggy. As for The chicken katsu don , the chicken is overcooked. I wouldn't visit this restaurant again. View all feedback.

We travel to Japan regularly so we know what authentic Japanese food taste like... sometimes, restaurants try to recreate Japanese flavour but lack the experience and training to succeed. Umisango didn't even try. If you know what Oyako-don looks like, you will know that they don't have pan grilled chicken and a sunny-side up fried egg.Let's call this cuisine 'Japanese-Like' but definitely not 'Japanese'.I rated 'Poor' instead of 'Terrible' because couple running the restaurant are nice and friendly.They probably do sushi okay... haven't tried.
We enjoyed all the items we ordered. It's expensive though. Even the nori rolls at lunchtime are a lot more than we are used to paying. Quality is good. Ambience is nice. One funny thing...We went there on a boiling night in a heat wave, and they had the braziers burning. They said it was for atmosphere.
The chef was asleep at the counter, which should have put us off. The waitress wasn't in the mood either. The food was filling and reasonably hot! Japan is a long way away, and that's what it tasted like. Guys, that was nothing! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
