Masatoshi Ogata, our founder, was a lorry driver with a dream of opening his own ramen shop. While driving to many regions across Japan, he sampled delicious ramen dishes and carefully collected ingredients to create his own perfect recipe. Using scrap wood from a local school, he built his first ramen shop with his bare hands in 1969. 3 years later, after putting all his efforts into his dream, his perfect ramen became a reality as "Yamagoya ramen.” Today, we proudly present our London pop-up location, offering a limited run of our delicious dishes.
What User likes about Yamagoya:
We enjoyed two fantastic (albeit unconventional) bowls of ramen, both bursting with flavor and topped with delicious additions. Purists might disagree, but I found it to be wonderful. The desserts were a bit underwhelming, and the service was slow on a quiet night. View all feedback.
